To dream of a wedding, a fairytale wedding amidst palm trees on a sunny day in the Mediterranean with all of your friends and family from near and far. What could be better fitting than a castle? Jane & Johnny came from the United Kingdom for their wedding and their strong connection to the island really shone through with the mix of Spanish and English guests. Event planners from Magicmed did indeed make magic. From the flowers to decor, top to bottom, the setting and flow of the day was stunning. Jane & Johnny got ready in the gorgeous high-ceilinged rooms of the castle with champagne toasts and hair and make-up by talented Swedish artist Annika. The pink, creamy and white palette were the perfect delicate accent against the prominent background of the castle and the lush green gardens. One highlight of this venue is the giant trees that canopy over the dining area and whose trunks and branches are encircled in beautiful fairy lights, adding to the feeling of a magical place. The ceremony took place in what appeared to once have been a structure as an arboretum beneath a canopy of flowers created by the talented Hanne Kronkvist. The ceremony was gracefully performed by Paul Betts from Weddings Mallorca. The moving moments were capped off with a wine box ceremony in which the B&G placed a fine bottle of Mallorquin wine in a wooden box with two sealed letters written to each other – only to be opened on their 10th anniversary. Guests enjoyed catering from La Alacena followed by a cake cutting, with cake provided by Bonito Cakes. Entertainment was full on with guests playing and singing flamenco, an official flamenco dancer and music by Charlie & Clyde. Magic made!
