Bridal preparations took place at the nearby S’Olivaret Hotel. On arrival were the of make-up by Jenn Anstead , hair by Marta Lula and nails by Annika Brannan. These bridesmaids were very well taken care of. After the frenzy of activities around getting ready, a few glasses of champagne and gifts for the girls we headed just around the corner to Finca Son Berga.
According to the land registry in 1578, Jaume Berga’s “possessió” in Alaro was called Son Pisá.Mr. Jaume Berga y de Caulelles was a deputy of Mallorca and the owner of the trusteeship which included the “possessió” later known as “Son Berga”, in Alaró.
At the beginning of the XX century; Mr. Manuel Salas bought the property. His daughter, Mrs. Guadalupe Salas inherited the property and in 1950 carried out major improvements directed by her uncle the architect Mr. Carlos Garau. Today the family stil owns the property. Son Berga has an extension of 132 hectares, where the agricultural and farming activity is still maintained. Now we can enjoy a magical atmosphere in the refurbished premises.
This colourful wedding against the luscious backdrop of Finca Son Berga combined with this international crowd of friends and family made for a momentous and gorgeous occasion. I have to say, I do have the best clients! The wedding was organized by the boutique event design and planning company Senses Events that specializes in weddings in South of France and Mallorca. Senses Events delivered impeccable table planning and design- colorful yet rustic, matching the feeling of a Mediterranean wedding surrounded by olive trees and an orange orchard. Together with the catering provided by Amida, it was luscious and delicious.
